Buildroot

Das Linux BSP (fsvybrid V2.2) beinhaltet den von F&S angepassten Linux Kernel Source Code (v3.0.15), den angepassten U-Boot Source Code (2014.07) und ein angepasstes Buildroot (2016.05), sowie unsere Cross-Toolchain.

Zudem sind unsere standard Binaries des Linux Kernel Images, U-Boot und ein UBIFS Root Filesystem beigefügt. Um einen ersten Eindruck zu gewinnen, sind in dem auf Buildroot basierenden Root Filesystem unter anderem folgende Features installiert:

Busybox 1.20.x, gdb 6.8, alsa-utils, gstreamer, madplay, directFB, fbv, X.Org rel-7.5, Matchbox, feh, X11vnc, openssl, openssh, freetype, glib2, tslib, libv4l, ncurses, can-utils, iproute2, ftpd, httpd, telnet, tftp.

Das BSP enthält auch die First-Steps Dokumentation, sowie Beispielapplikationen.

Als erste Firma überhaupt, können wir Ihnen WEC 2013 für Vybrid Prozessoren anbieten. Das hochflexible harte Echtzeitbetriebsystem bietet Kernel, Schnittstellentreiber, Bootloader und nutzt alle Features einer modernen ARM CPU wie ARMv7 THUMB2 Befehlssatz oder NEON Coprozessor.
Fertige Images und das BSP finden Sie in unserem Downloadbereich.
Die Entwicklung erfolgt mit den aktuellen Microsoft Tools wie Visual Studio 2015 (C, C++, C# oder VB.NET) und Expression Blend 5.
Schnittstellen wie z.B. I²C, CAN oder SPI können auf die gleiche Weise wie eine RS232 Schnittstelle verwendet werden.
Mithilfe von XAML for Windows Embedded trennen Sie Visualisierung und Programm auf einfache Weise.

Auch unter Compact 2013 steht Ihnen unser FailSafe Flash File System F3S zur Verfügung.

Der Vorteil von Single Board Computern (SBC) ist, dass sie ohne Basisboard eingesetzt werden können und sich so besonders für schnelles "Time-To-Market" eignen.

Asymmetrisches Multiprocessing

Die Basis für die armStone™A5 bildet die Dual-Core CPU (Asymmetric Multiprocessing) von NXP. Diese industrietaugliche und langzeitverfügbare (10 Jahre und länger) Vybrid CPU verfügt über zwei Kerne (Cortex-A5 - 500MHz und Cortex-M4 - 167MHz).

  

Die armStone™A5 kann mit bis zu 512Mbyte DRAM und mit bis zu 1GByte Flash ausgerüstet werden, aber auch schon ein 128Mbyte NAND Flash ist ausreichend, um ein komplettes WCE 6.0 R3/ WEC 7 oder Linux direkt aus dem Flash zu booten.

Zahlreiche Schnittstellen

Optional kann das Board mit einer micro-SD Karte aufgerüstet werden.
Das Board bietet Schnittstellen wie beispielsweise USB Host/ Device, 2x LAN, 3x RS232, 2x CAN, SPI, I²C, Audio (IN/ OUT/ MIC) zum Teil auf Standardbuchsen oder auf der Stiftleiste an.
Weiterhin steht eine LVDS Schnittstelle (max. Auflösung bis XGA) oder alternativ eine RGB Schnittstelle bis SVGA zur Verfügung. Auch Touchpanelschnittstellen für resisitive und auch kapazitive Touchpanels werden angeboten.
