The so-called terminalmode is the standard mode of our display systems. All basic functions such a display text, draw line, fill out rectangle, change font etc. are carried out in terminalmode.
After initialization the system is in text mode, i.e. all arriving data are shown on the display. Line breaks occur automatically as well as scrolling at display bottom. Backspace, carriage return as well as line feed are being supported. By change over into graphic mode the output data can also be freely positioned by pixels.
Visualization in terminal mode:
- Easy switch over from VT220 based terminals
- suitable for smaller, cost-intensively completed applications
- rapid test environment for individual functions with DCU-Termi
- no additional software needed
- no run-time license
