New PicoCOM4 with WCE6.0 and Linux, now in mass production

PicoCOM4 (40x50mm) uses an Samsung CPU with ARM9 core and runs with 400MHz. PicoCOM4 offers 64MB Flash and 64MB RAM as well as signals for 2x serial, USB Host, USB Device, I2C, SPI, I/O, Audio, CAN, Ethernet and SD/MMC-Card. According to that PicoCOM4 also has a flexible display interface and a touch controller, which are typical features for F&S Elektronik.
All standard TFT-Displays from 320x240 (QVGA) up to 800x480 (WVGA) can be connected. PicoCOM4 use single power supply with 3.3V. Via robust 80pol plug-in connectors the PicoCOM4 gets plugged on a customer-specific baseboard. Windows CE6.0R3 or Linux is available as well as the drivers for suggested interfaces. For a quick and easy start of the development a starter kit (PicoCOM4, base board, cables, TFT display with Touch, documentation and software) is available.

The programming is effected at Windows Embedded 6.0 via VS.NET (C++, C#, Basic). For Linux Buildroot is used (QT, Gstreamer, etc.). Furthermore F&S Elektronik offers a 4-hour workshop in Stuttgart (WCE or Linux) and has a forum for online support for PicoCOM4 customers.
Customer-specific changes of F&S boards as well as the design of suiting baseboards are possible after consultation.
